I spent a couple of weeks working on setting up a skydome for a last call autumn pic. I’d hoped to get it up Thanksgiving weekend, but we had too much fun in RL. So here it is, just before I move into holiday/winter frenzy!
When I got to thinking about this post, I decided on the title Autumn Leaves. I liked the play on words, as we transition into winter! We had a freakishly warm autumn here in Colorado (not good for wildfires). But tonight it’s properly cold and snowing and both things make me feel settled and peaceful.
In my Turnip’s Skydome, however, it’s still looking pretty autumnal. If you look closely, there are a few signs a touch of snow fell recently, but mostly it’s about a cozy stone cottage, sitting by the fire, enjoying cozy blankets and settling in with a warm pumpkin spice latte and some good books.
LAQ’s second mesh head is called Maxine. It’s gorgeous, and feels very impish when worn with the default skin applier Evelyn (included in HUD w/purchase)! It’s one of the heads that feels most “me,” although I readily admit I am a bit of a chameleon when it comes to my avatar’s face. Of course, the LAQ heads are OMEGA compatible out of the box, but I definitely recommend demoing skins that aren’t made for them specifically, as they won’t all look right.
